Living in the tropics, there’s one thing you never leave home without — a hat. I can’t tell you how many hats I’ve lost while sailing. Either turning my head quickly to hear a command from the cockpit or rushing forward to the bow to see the dolphins. The wind picks up and woosh, there she goes. We used to practice man overboard drills to retrieve hats, but that novelty has worn thin. Needless to say, I’m always looking for the next best hat. Talking with Patrice on Sonamara, I learned about the No Headache Visors. She swears by them, and now I do too. These visors are comfortable (no headache!). They are fashionable (available in many colors and patterns for those accessory-minded cruisers). They stay put while sailing and I can see out from under them without craning my neck. They protect me from the sun, and I can even wear one to lunch without my hair looking a total wreck when I take it off. Vanity aside, I highly recommend the No Headache Visors. Try them and please consider ordering through my affiliate link to support our blog. Happy Cruising!
